season 1 shenanigans (the reason i made this blog part 2)

Yeah, a HUGE difference in budget XD


I think for Season 2 they had more funding from Local 58 (or Channel 58 aka the guys who originally aired Candle Cove), hence the difference in budget. So yeah, that would make sense.



Geez  it was a lot more...VIOLENT, too. I guess they stopped doing that when the show got more mainstream in Season 2.








Not sure why they changed the Skin-taker's name to Jawbone in Season 2...maybe so he wouldn't scare the kids as much?

The main reason i'm documenting here though is that yesterday, the weridest thing happened

Apparently theres like a legend that the incident that god the shiw canned was this episode that was jjst the puppets flailing spatisticlaly and screaming and Janice just moaned and cried...that was it. That was the episode. They just screamed. This went on for 30 MINTES.


So yesterday they straight up AIRED THE FIRST FEW MINUTES OF THAT EPISODE


And something werid happened where it like switched so a completely different style which i think was from the last few secs of the Screaming Episode before it cut to colors and bars


How did this slip through I think that's the one episode they outrigjt refuse to show. Like it's banned or something, so HOW DID THIS SLIP THROUGH????



It was like a completely different show almost. Yeah idk what happened...it looks even more highbudget so maybe those were the Season 3 puppets??? But I think Season 3 and the show got canned after the Screaming Episode came out.


And then after that it just went off air. Idk why, maybe it got found out or that was aired on accident but it wasnt the wrrid dvd aspect ratio they air all the episodes in and its been off air wver since. I tried today and its still off the air. Itll probably stay like thst for a bit



So anyway, i'm gonna be reporting more findings on this channel and this show here. I've started calling this channel The Cove Corner as a nickname

Candle Cove season 1 tv spot (the scratching is back too)

  The scratching is back But its a lot less subtle It stopped after I noticed it and went to check it out Thats really the only thing i have to report Other than today, they played the other tv spot Yeah you can tell why they gave Skintaker a complete overhaul in season 2 and turned him into Jawbone, cant believe this guy was in a kids show I think the guy who supposedly voiced him, Micheal Colon (don't laugh) voiced him? I guess midway through the season he switched to the jack the ripper voice i'm more familar with? Yeah skintaker didnt really appear till midway in the season. Beforehand we only saw glimpses of him like in the pilot and was more of a looming threat than an actual villian. When he was actually introduced and we saw him for the first time, the episodes got a lot darker.   Oh yea also last week on Monday they FINALLY reaired a season 1 episode...its the pilot btw lol I THINK the good morning blondie spot aired that day too? But i had the sound off for some reason so idk. I managed to get this screenshot. Thats where he goes "good morning!" What happened today

screw it. i'll tell you guys anyway becuz i figured out the image issue but youll have to believe me i swear so heres what happened My aunt g lives out in the countryside of west monroe. Like, theres a bunch of swamp trees around her house. Today it was dried up and it was so...liminal. Like, the trees stretched out in every direction. Endless almost. I got this werid feeling of deja vu for some reason. Part of me also dreaded how maybe Jawbone and Horace where there in West Monroe since i watched candle cove when i still lived there then i saw this I swear to god theres was a towel i think stretched over that But when i first saw it it was a cloth made of skin It was further in the woods And then i blinked and it was gone I then i saw Horace creeping around a tree with that godawful grin on his face He beckoned at me Like he was going "come with meeee" I tried to ignore him but i swear i felt him staring daggers at me (or dagger bc he's got one eye) He kept just sort
